Shops:
The nearest shop is the Modbury farm shop, there is also a Spar shop at Burton Bradstock, but it is very easy to get to Bridport which has a garage with shop on the left as you go in for essentials including daily papers.
Bridport has a large Morrisons, Co-Op and a Waitrose that will do home delivery. The Dorchester Tesco will also deliver to Court Close. The postcode for this is DT2 9AG 9DZ. Waitrose have a minimum order of £50.

West Dorset Hospital in Dorchester has an A&E Department and is about 20 minutes from Court Close. At the first roundabout by the Macdonalds take second exit to Town Centre. Follow signs to Town Centre and the hospital is signposted.
